Important ETH Hard Fork Information
On April 14th, 2021, ETH (Ethereum) Berlin hard fork will be activated. This latest upgrade will be part of a sequence of non-backward compatible hard forks, which have been planned from the beginning by the developers as intermediate stations on the way to Ethereum’s final evolution: Serenity. The forthcoming hard fork is meant to help the Ethereum network by mitigating against possible DoS (Denial of Service) attacks and optimizing the usage of gas fees.
The ETH pairs will continue to be offered to our clients provided that our liquidity providers continue to offer pricing and execution. There is a possibility that the ETH pairs will go to Close Only mode for some hours during the process.
Please keep in mind that traders will only be able to close the open (existing) positions under the Close Only mode.
