Exponential Growth of Bitcoin is on the Cards, Less than 1% of the World Know Crypto
Willy Woo--an on-chain analyst and a Bitcoin supporter, projects Bitcoin to explode to the upside in the next four years--or by the next halving. He cites the low penetration, explaining that even after 11 years of cryptocurrencies, less than one percent of the world’s population know what digital assets are. However, given the pace of crypto’s growth in recent times, there is massive headroom for expansion northwards.
The Bitcoin price added over 1 million percent in the last decade. Still, despite its outperforming traditional assets and others, the lack of government support and denigration from regulators, preventing the development of growth channels present immediate obstacles. So far, less than one percent of the world’s populace know what Bitcoin is. Even so, Willy projects that in the next four years, more will be exposed to the digital asset. With over 2 billion people aware and probably aiming to own a share of any of the over 20 million BTC in circulation, the digital asset’s price will rally due to the unprecedented levels of demand.
Impact on the BTC Price:
Bullish. BTC is deflationary with a fixed supply. It has evolved to be a store-of-value even with less than one percent of the world’s population knowing what it does. With more exposure and the coin serving its original purpose, the path of least resistance will be to the upside.
